SRQARES STATUS IS LEVEL 1 – ALL CLEAR

SRQARES is now at at LEVEL 1 – ALL CLEAR status. Thank you to all of the operators who volunteered their time and resources to staff REDCOM as well as all 4 SMH facilities. Also to all operators who were on stand-by to deploy if called upon and every who was involved with running all of the different nets, we Thank You!

We are happy to report at this time as far as we know that none of our repeater sites have sustained any major damage. The Laurel site continues to have intermittent power and internet issues. We hope as restoration work continues this will iron itself out. The normal Thursday night ARES net will continue on SAR-1 & 2 repeaters at 1900 hrs.

We would like to express our condolences to the friends and families who have lost loved ones due to Hurricane Milton. Our prayers continue on to those who have suffered great losses. And to all the men and women who have come to the aide of our communities, both near and far, to help with the recovery, restoration, and clean up we are so grateful. THANK YOU!
